Summer Clerkship Program
Young Clement Rivers has a long tradition of utilizing the summer clerkship program to recruit future associates. Through the summer clerkship program, Young Clement Rivers strives to provide its law clerks with a broad-based, practical exposure to the law. The firm begins the application and interview process for summer clerks in September and typically hires only second-year sutdents. Young Clement Rivers attends on-campus interviews at the University of South Carolina and other selected schools in September and October.
We encourage interested students at the University of South Carolina Law School to apply with us through the law school's career services office. We also conduct interviews in our Charleston office during these months for students attending other law schools. Additionally, the firm recruits at regional minority career fairs and encourages minority students to participate in our on-campus interviews.
