- Partner Carol Ervin and associate Brian Quisenberry recently secured a ruling from the South Carolina Supreme Court in favor of the Fairfield County School District on a certified question from the United States District Court. The South Carolina Supreme Court’s opinion overturns the Court’s prior case law regarding the tenure rights of school district administrators. The favorable result provides all school districts in South Carolina with additional flexibility in making administrative employment decisions.
- Wilbur Johnson was recently elected to serve a three year term on the Board of Directors for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.
- Brian Quisenberry was recently elected to serve as a Board member of the SC Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and he currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Employment and Labor Law Substantive Law Committee for the SCDTAA.
- Carol Ervin and Shawn Wallace have been named to the Super Lawyers list for three consecutive years, most recently for Super Lawyers 2010.
