- Participation on SCCIA Government Advisory Committee, the committee has drafted proposed new legislation to enhance existing captive laws in South Carolina;
- Doug Concannon successfully piloted the efforts of an SRS-managed captive insurance company to move from the Cayman Islands to South Carolina and become licensed to transact business here. The captive was granted the very last license awarded by the South Carolina Department of Insurance in calendar year 2009 (#215); and
- Doug Concannon recently assisted Artex Risk Solutions, Inc. in forming and licensing its second South Carolina captive insurance company.
