(Buster) Holland, who built and nurtured the group and has served YCR for 40 years, has passed along the reins of leadership to Drake. Partner Carol Ervin and associate Brian Quisenberry recently secured a ruling from the South Carolina Supreme Court in favor of the Fairfield County School District on a certified question from the United States District Court. The South Carolina Supreme Court's opinion overturns the Court's prior case law regarding the tenure rights of school district administrators. The favorable result provides all school districts in South Carolina with additional flexibility in making administrative employment decisions.
