Elizabeth B. Luzuriaga focuses her practice on state and federal workers’ compensation law as well as concurrent jurisdiction claims under these laws.  She is the chair of the firm’s Longshore and Harbor Workers Practice Group.  She also serves as an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law.  In 2009, she was selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers of America.  As part of her practice, Ms. Luzuriaga has served as a mediator in claims involving the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers Act, and in claims involving the complexities of both acts. She is one of the firm's three ALFA International contact partners and is currently active on behalf of the firm in the South Carolina Self-Insurer's Association.

Ms. Luzuriaga served for several years as a member of the board of directors for the Carolina Children's Charity and also as its executive vice president.  She is a former member of the Roper Hospital Institutional Review Board and former chair of the Advisory Board for the South Carolina Organ Procurement Agency. From 2008 to 2009, she was a member of the South Carolina Maritime Foundation Board.  Since 2002, she has served on the Ashley Hall School Board of Trustees and serves as its secretary.
