Brian L. Quisenberry practices primarily in the firm's Employment and Labor Law Practice Group. Brian represents both public and private employers in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and the S.C. Human Affairs Commission.

Brian is experienced in all types of employment litigation. Brian regularly defends his clients against claims for civil rights violations, retaliation, wrongful termination and discrimination, including cases arising under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA and other employment related statutes. Additionally, Brian counsels clients on day-to-day employment issues from hiring to termination, and advises clients in developing employment policies and procedures to help avoid litigation. Brian is experienced in FLSA and S.C. Payment of Wages Act disputes, and defends handbook and contract challenges brought against his clients. He also represents clients in various industries in employee defection matters, including lawsuits involving non-competition, non-solicitation, and non-disclosure agreements, and state trade secret and unfair trade practice statutes. In addition, Brian defends a number of retail industry clients in premises liability and malicious prosecution actions, and is experienced in zoning and land use disputes.

Brian currently serves as Treasurer for the Board of the S.C. Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, and as the Vice Chair of the SCDTAA Employment Law Committee. Brian is a contributing author of the treatise Labor and Employment Law for South Carolina Lawyers published by the South Carolina Bar Association and has published articles in the Federal Bar Association’s periodical The Federal Lawyer.

Brian graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina Law School in 2005. While attending law school Brian served as an editor for the American Bar Association's Real Property Probate and Trust Journal, and he received CALI awards in Employment Discrimination, Secured Transactions, Advanced Legal Research, and Advanced Legal Writing. He was also named to the honorary society Order of Wig and Robe and to Who’s Who Among American Law Students.
