Areas of Practice

YCRLAW's Products Liability Practice Group is composed of experienced trial lawyers with extensive skill representing clients in products liability litigation including complex cases, mass torts, and class actions.

The group represents:

  • Product manufacturers
  • Designers
  • Distributors
  • Wholesalers
  • Retailers
  • Assemblers

The group routinely represents clients on a national, regional, and local level in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, and serious property damage involving industrial, construction, recreational, household, computer software and hardware defects, fire loss, and toxic torts, among others.

Trial Strategy

The group's attorneys are on the vanguard of creative discovery techniques and trial strategies. They are skilled in the selection, preparation, and use of expert witnesses and the use of advanced computer technology for effective case management in complex matters.

Prevention

The firm’s attorneys also understand that avoiding litigation in the first place is an important goal. The firm assists clients in designing and implementing risk management plans through intensive evaluation of the client's business and products, as well as in-house training of design, manufacturing, and sales personnel.

Settlement

When appropriate, YCRLAW's attorneys recognize the importance of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and are well versed in the process, both as participants and as mediators and arbitrators.

ALFA

The firm is an active member of ALFA International, which enables group attorneys to interact with non-lawyer members to learn about industry trends and strategies, as well as develop product knowledge.
